Orbital welding of piping systems

SPOT AS has delivered orbital welding services to a global subsea supplier, ensuring high precision and quality in every weld joint – across a total of 19 subsea Christmas trees.

SPOT AS has supported a leading international subsea supplier with orbital welding on a demanding project involving 19 subsea Christmas trees.

The assignment included welding of piping systems in dimensions ranging from 3/8″ to 3/4″, where the requirements for precision and traceability are especially high.

We delivered both equipment and personnel, and the work was carried out with a strong focus on cleanliness, control, and documented quality – all hallmarks of orbital welding as a method. This makes it ideal for systems where leak-tightness and repeatability are critical, such as in subsea and high-pressure applications.
